BP is the operator of the Sangachal Terminal Expansion Program. AZFEN and TEKFEN performed construction works for this project. Thanks to the mutual respect and trust between BP and AZFEN, the project was successfully completed. AZFEN has also participated in other large-scale projects such as Compression and Water Injection Platform, Technological Equipment, Compression, Water Injection and Household Equipment Platform together with AMEC and TEKFEN.

Construction of 1220mm diam. 48” Sangachal-Gazimemmed gas pipeline designed for transportation of Shah Deniz gas started in November 1, 2006. The gas pipeline route runs through rugged terrain and crosses 3 important pipeline – BTC (Baku Tbilisi Ceyhan), Baku-Erzurum gas pipeline and Western Route Export Pipeline. Customer of the construction was SOCAR Gas Operations Management. Azfen LLC successfully carried out the works and the pipeline was completely put into operation in June 15, 2007. In April 2017 Azfen LLC as a Contractor started execution of HAOR (Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery) Project and successfully completed in June, 2018.

AİOC was our first customer. Since the first contract was signed with them in 1996, we have implemented a number of successful projects. These projects include Full Fied Development Project, Sangachal Terminal Expansion Program and Early Oil Project, CWP (Compression and Water Injection  Platform) Topsides Fabrication, PCWU (Process, Compression, Water Injection and Utilities) Platform Project/ACG FFD-C-1006 Phase 3, COP-WC (Chirag Oil Project - West Chirag) Platform, Fabrication of Topsides, Drilling Facilities and Integration of Living Quarters) Project.

Saipem was responsible for installation and transportation of Support Platforms and Topsides within the ACG Project. It included reconstruction of facilities for fulfillment of operations specific to the Project and the Project completed successfully. In 2002 Azfen signed a number of contracts for fabrication, installation and maintenance services together with Saipem. In 2014 execution of South Caucasus Pipeline Expansion (SCPX) Project was entrusted to SAIPEM and Azfen LLC Consortium and the Project was completed.

Toyo Engineering Corporation is our Customer. Our workscope in cooperation with Toyo consisted of construction of a pipeline section of Azerigas Pipeline Project in Azerbaijan. The Contract included construction, installation works related to and completion of the Project. The works were carried out in 2002.

In the project carried out by this Company, the work assigned to Azfen LLC included the construction of 2 Pressure Reduction stations in connection with the Western Route Pipeline in Georgia. The stations were located at altitudes of 200m and 900m and in an area exposed to harsh climatic conditions. So, here the temperature varies between -15C and +40C, rain and snow did not stop. However, despite all these difficulties, the Project continued up to months and was completed on time, in 1998.

In April, 2017 Azfen LLC started execution of the Project for provision of measurement control, fabrication and installation services related to Onshore/Offshore Brownfield Restoration Facility for DBXO (Installation of Expansion and Crossover Line) during realization of SD1 Expansion and Crossover Line Installation Project customer of which was WorleyParsons. Project workscope covered installation of a new 18” gas and 6” condensate crossover line and completed successfully.
